Children around the world need to hear of Jesus. Multitudes of children Globally have never received the simplest of gifts. Samaritan's purse took these two truths and created a global outreach named Operation Christmas Child. Poquoson Baptist has participated in this global outreach for many years, as a church we collect supplies throughout the year then pack shoeboxes with gender and age appropriate gifts and watch God work through the idea of a simple Christmas present. Poquoson Baptist also participates in this vital ministry as a regional receiving and shipping point, gathering shoeboxes from many local churches and packing tractor trailers to be sent to Samaritan's Purse in North Carolina for final prep before Global distribution.
