I have been burdened for nearly a year about how adapting to life with Covid-19 has virtually destroyed meaningful service for many members in the life of the church (Maybe that's just our problem, I don't know. But it's a real problem nonetheless.) This article offers some helpful insight on how churches can be more service-oriented. Author Chad Ashby writes: "Many churches spend so much time trying to invent new ministries when what is really needed in their city are Christians faithfully seeking to improve and bless the services that already exist."

Nearly every Christian couple I've ever counseled has been impacted in one way or another by Gary Chapman's best-selling book, The Five Love Languages. Although there are certainly helpful insights in Chapman's book, far too many Christians have adopted Chapman's relationship paradigm without biblical discernment.
