How To Prepare For This Sunday, 07/14/2019

Just a reminder that our adult Sunday School classes will all be meeting together this Sunday for a joint Sunday School to hear from Mike Klaassen, one of our elder candidates.

Prepare for this Sunday by reading Acts 4:32-5:11. This Sunday we’ll learn how our powerful God is good, but He is not safe. What does it look like when God’s people are transformed by a love that is not safe?

Iif you haven’t been joining us for our evening service at 6PM would you consider making it a priority? Let me give  you two main reasons why I think it’s important. First, it really is a family time at PBC. The service is more informal and allows a bit more time for fellowship. And it’s in this service where we strive to obey our calling to “bear one another’s burdens” by praying for one another (Galatians 6:2). Second, join us to support some of our men who are seeking to grow as teachers of God’s Word. This Sunday night we’ll hear a devotional sermon from Sam Garcia from 2 Samuel 6:1-7.

Here’s a few specific ways to prepare for Sunday:

1) Pray and ask God to work in you for His glory.

2) Read and meditate on Acts 4:32-5:11, our text for Sunday’s sermon.

3) This Sunday we’ll be praying for the nation of Montenegro. Learn how to pray for them personally here.

4) Below are the songs we’ll be singing on Sunday. Click on the links to learn any you don’t know so you’re prepared to sing.

Holy, Holy, Holy

Only a Holy God

God Be Merciful to Me (Psalm 51)

Man of Sorrows

Grace Greater Than Our Sin

Jesus Paid It All

I look forward to worshiping with you on Sunday!!!
