How To Prepare For This Sunday, 06/30/2019

Please join us for a Baptism at Messick Point this Sunday at 8:15 A.M. Join us to watch a powerful baptism and then head to the church building for donuts and coffee before Sunday School. We know it’s early, but you’re not going to want to miss this!

Get ready for Sunday’s morning service by reading Acts 2:41-47. This Sunday we’ll learn that God’s strategy to fulfill the great commission is through the radical ordinary local church.

If you haven’t been joining us for our evening service at 6PM would you consider making it a priority? Let me give  you two main reasons why I think it’s important. First, it really is a family time at PBC. The service is more informal and allows a bit more time for fellowship. And it’s in this service where we strive to obey our calling to “bear one another’s burdens” by praying for one another (Galatians 6:2). Second, join us to support some of our men who are seeking to grow as teachers of God’s Word. This Sunday night we’ll hear a devotional sermon from Mike Lindell on Psalm 84.

Here’s a few specific ways to prepare for Sunday:

1) Pray and ask God to work in you for His glory.

2) Read and meditate on Acts 2:41-47, our text for Sunday’s sermon.

3) This Sunday we’ll be praying for the nation of Monaco. Learn how to pray for them personally here.

4) Below are the songs we’ll be singing on Sunday. Click on the links to learn any you don’t know so you’re prepared to sing.
