Get ready for this Sunday by spending some time in the book of Acts. We’re launching a new sermon series studying this powerful book of Scripture together. This Sunday we’ll take a birdseye view at the book and discuss what it means for a church to be on mission.
We’ll be gathering in the fellowship hall for a joint Sunday School class to hear from John Rogers, one of our elder candidates. Please pray for him as he prepares to share God’s Word with us.
Please make plans to join us this Sunday night for our revamped evening service. We’re going to spend more time in worship and prayer, along with a brief time in God’s Word together. This is a wonderful time to grow in our fellowship together as God’s people. I hope to worship alongside you.
Here’s a few specific ways to prepare for Sunday:
1) Pray and ask God to work in you for His glory.
2) Read and meditate on Acts 1-28, our text for Sunday’s sermon.
3) This Sunday we’ll be praying for the nation of Mauritius. Learn how to pray for them personally here.
4) Below are the songs we’ll be singing on Sunday. Click on the links to learn any you don’t know so you’re prepared to sing.
I look forward to worshiping with you on Sunday!!!
