Prepare for Sunday’s sermon by reading Colossians 3:22-4:1. For the remainder of our time in Colossians I hope to show you that if we’re confident in Christ we’ll view relationships differently. After several weeks considering the relationships within the Christian home, this Sunday we’ll discuss a messy relationship that was widespread in the ancient world: the relationship between slaves and their masters. I hope to show you that Christians are called to think and live differently, even when they’re involved in unjust situations. If you’re confident in Christ, your life will look different even when your circumstances don’t.
Here’s a few specific ways to prepare for Sunday:
1) Pray and ask God to work in you for His glory.
2) Read and meditate on Colossians 3:22-4:1, our text for Sunday’s sermon.
3) Below are the songs we’ll be singing on Sunday. Click on the links to learn any you don’t know so you’re prepared to sing.
I look forward to worshiping with you on Sunday!!!
