How to Prepare for Sunday, 02/25/2018

This Sunday, we’re continuing our study in Colossians by rejoicing in the truth that Jesus is preeminent. I hope to share with you from Colossians 1:18b-20 three reasons why Jesus is preeminent, then examine two implications of that reality.

Here’s a few specific ways to prepare for Sunday:

1) Pray and ask God to work in you for His glory.

2) Read and meditate on Colossians 1:18b-20, our text for Sunday’s sermon.

3) We’ll be celebrating a baptism this coming Sunday. Over the years I’ve met many Christians who were confused about the meaning and importance of baptism. Click here for a helpful article to help you think biblically about baptism.

3) Below are the songs we’ll be singing on Sunday. Click on the links to learn any you don’t know so you’re prepared to sing.

I See the Lord

Your Grace is Enough

In Christ Alone

What a Beautiful Name

How Deep the Father’s Love for Us

Behold Our God

See you Sunday!
